Tasting Note
Colour / Appearance:Bright strawberry / deep blush. Aroma / Bouquet:Lifted strawberry and raspberry fruit flavours with refreshing watermelon and cream notes. Palate:The palate is soft and plush, supporting lifted berry fruit aromatics and creamy complexities, with a long clean finish. Cellaring:Our Rosé is youthful and fresh to be enjoyed now and can be cellared for 2 to 3 years. Food Match:A great pairing with food. Try serving with smoked fish, pâtés, or fresh green salads. Also a great cheese match, particularly edam, gouda or gruyere. Serve:Lightly chilled.

Viticulture
Harvest Date:16th April 2010 Climate:The early ripening season was cooler than average, resulting in a late flowering. However, warm dry conditions over budburst and later in the season lead to balanced yields, clean fruit and excellent flavours. Vine Management:The vines were pruned to two canes on a vertical shoot positioning trellis.
Vinification
Winemaking:The fruit was crushed and destemmed then held on skins for three days. The juice was drawn off and cold settled. A cold fermentation with selected yeast ensured a wine with lifted aromatics and freshness. Winemaker:Sam Smail & Rowan Langdon
