As one of Marlborough’s longest established wineries, Whitehaven Wine Company celebrates Christmas and the export of its one millionth case of wine to the USA with a big Christmas gift for Marlborough – a 10 year sponsorship package for the new ASB Civic Theatre in Blenheim.
Long time supporter of theatre events in Marlborough, managing director, Sue White has pledged sponsorship of the function room in the new theatre overlooking the Taylor River. It will be named 'The Whitehaven Wine Room'. The main theatre will hold more than 700 people and an additional theatre will seat over 200.
“We’re proudly Marlborough – we use only Marlborough grapes and we process everything here in Marlborough – and we value the fact that we can market our wines as genuinely Marlborough.
