This certification shows Whitehaven has an independently audited emissions summary and reduction plan.

Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) certified
Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) is widely recognised as a world-leading sustainability programme, designed to provide a ‘best practice’ model of environmental practices in the vineyard and winery.
The programme is based on continuous improvement and adherence to the SWNZ standards, which ensures members meet international guidelines for sustainability practices in the vineyard and winery.
Sustainable certification is awarded through an independently audited programme and Whitehaven has been a SWNZ accredited company since 2009.
You will find the SWNZ logo printed on the back label of each of our wines.

Appellation Marlborough Wine (AMW) is a registered trademark created to uphold and enhance the quality reputation of Marlborough Wine.
A wine carrying the AMW logo gives consumers confidence that they are purchasing: a genuine Marlborough wine that is an authentic, quality expression of the Marlborough region, and has been grown and produced sustainably from vineyards that are SWNZ certified.
