The 2018 vintage (4*) is a highly aromatic, very finely balanced wine, with lots of youthful impact. Light lemon/green, it has strong, citrusy, slightly spicy flavours, gentle sweetness (10.7 grams/litre of residual sugar) and a moderately crisp finish. Enjoyable young, it should break into full stride mid-2020+. 4 stars, Michael Cooper, NZ.
