"Deep ruby-red with moderate transparency, even colour throughout. The nose is full, filled with spicy aromas of black pepper, cloves and cinnamon; red cherries, ripe red berries melded with minty herbs and subtle gaminess. Medium-light bodied, aromas of red cherries, red berries interweave black pepper, cinnamon and minty herbs; subtle gaminess enriched the finish. The fruit is forward and brisk, supported by lively acidity and a dusty tannin mouthfeel. This is a juicy, approachable Pinot Noir with flavours of red fruit and a fine-textured dusty tannin palate. Match with pork and duck over the next 3-4 years. Destemmed, cold-soaked 3-6 days, wild fermented to 13.5% alc. 15-21 days on skins, then transferred and aged in French oak barriques for 10 months, 27% new oak." 4 Stars, Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
