Enjoyable now, this easy-drinking red is made by Whitehaven for LegaSea, to help fund its work to restore inshore fisheries to abundance. Tasted in mid-2019, it is a light ruby, medium-bodied style, with ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, slightly savoury notes adding complexity, and a well-rounded finish. Priced right.
